WHY WE'RE DOING THIS
The Last Save began in the hockey community with one belief: there's always a save left to make. Trauma often sits underneath mental health struggles and addiction. You deserve care that meets you where you are.
This program helps close the gap between needing support and actually getting it.
WHO IT'S FOR
This program is for women and men who have experienced sexual assault or domestic violence, whether recently or years ago.
• You don't need to have an addiction to ask for help.
If you are in addiction recovery, you're welcome here too.
• You don't have to report to police or go to court to reach out.
WHAT WE'RE BUILDING
The program is launching now, and we're building support as funding and partnerships come together.
• Counseling scholarships with licensed mental health professionals
• Help with addiction treatment and sober living
• Partnerships with sexual assault and domestic violence organizations
• Peer support: connection with people who understand
• Education and help finding services close to home
OUR PROMISES TO YOU
• Your story is yours. Help never depends on telling your story publicly or appearing in our materials.
• Confidential, always. What you share with us stays private, except where the law requires otherwise.
• Care from qualified, licensed providers. We help you get care from licensed professionals and trusted organizations.
• No judgment. No pressure to move on, forgive, report, or explain.
• Women and men. Survivors of any gender are welcome.
WHERE WE ARE NOW
The program is board-approved and launching, and we're taking inquiries now.
