Our mission
Many veterans carry trauma that doesn't go away when the uniform comes off. For some, addiction becomes a way to numb the pain. The hardest part often isn't wanting help. It's the gap between wanting help and actually getting it: a safe place to live, people who understand, and the structure to keep going.
The Last Save is stepping into that gap. Our veteran sober living home will give veterans in early recovery a safe, substance-free place to live alongside others who have walked a similar road, so no veteran has to fight addiction alone.
There's always a save left to make.
Who it serves
This home is for veterans.
It is for men and women who served in the U.S. Armed Forces and are committed to their recovery from addiction, including veterans leaving treatment, moving on from an unstable living situation, or looking for structure and accountability to stay sober.
We'll publish full eligibility guidelines and the application process before the home opens.
What the home will provide
We're building the home around what we believe veterans in early recovery need most:
-
A safe, substance-free place to live, so recovery has a stable foundation
-
Structure and accountability: house guidelines, routines, and regular check-ins
-
A community of fellow veterans, living with and supporting people who understand military life
-
Recovery mentorship: people in your corner who have been there
-
Help connecting to treatment and resources, including treatment programs and community support
-
A path forward: support with goals like work, family, and long-term stability
Where we are now
We're working to open our first home.
We're raising funds and building partnerships to make it happen. We'll share updates on our progress, including location, timing, and how to apply, here and on Instagram as soon as they're confirmed.
Every sponsorship and gift right now helps bring the home to life and supports veterans in recovery while we build it.
How you can help
Sponsor a Veteran: $820
A gift of $820 sponsors one veteran's early recovery support. The number is intentional: it honors Operation 82, the spirit of service, sacrifice, and mission behind this branch of The Last Save. One sponsorship, one veteran supported, one more person given a real chance.
Donate any amount
Every dollar moves us closer to opening the home. You can give once or monthly. The Last Save Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 39-2677410), and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Volunteer
We'll need help with fundraising events, mentorship, setting up the house, and spreading the word. If you're a veteran in long-term recovery, your experience could mean everything to someone just starting out.
